How to fix authentication is required error in google play store

Google Play, which was originally born and referred to by Google as the Android Market, is Google's official store and portal for Android apps, games and other content for your Android-powered phone, tablet or Android TV device. Just as Apple has its App Store, Google has the Google Play Store. There are many bugs and errors that are generated in the Google Play Store.

"Authentication is required" is  comparatively a common error of Google Play Store. This one is too much irritating and annoying. There are many known fixes to this problem, but many of them are found useless. In this tutorial, I have provided four ways that helped others for fixing this error. You can clarify your doubts in the commenting section.

1.Official Google Fix.

This method is officially recommended by Google for fixing the error. It is the most known fix as well. The procedure goes like this: Go to Settings--> Apps--> Google Play Store--> Clear Cache and Data. Now restart your device.

2.Removing Google Account. 

This method is the second most common fix. Here you need to do the following procedure. Go to Settings--> Accounts--> Google--> Find the account which you have signed in your Google Play Store--> Tap the three dots icon on the top right-->Remove. After removing the account restart the device. Now open Google Play Store and Sign in.

3.Uninstall Updates of Google Play Store.

This method is also found to be fixing error. Go to Settings--> Apps--> Google Play Store--> Click Uninstall Updates (This will uninstall all the Play store updates and make it to the factory version). Now Restart your phone.

4.Clearing Cache and Data of Google Services Framework.

This method is also found Useful. Here you need to Go to Settings--> Apps--> All tab--> Google Services Framework--> Clear Cache and Data. Now restart your device.
